BIO & RESEARCH INTERESTs
As a sociophonetician, my research concerns variation in phonetic production and perception. My projects include investigations of dialect variation and change in Oklahoma and Pacific Northwest English, the intelligibility of deaf cochlear implant users and how people judge their personalities, the perception of speech rate, and remote data collection methods.
