BIO & RESEARCH INTERESTs

John Tetnowski, Ph.D., CCC is the Jeanette Sias Endowed Chair in Speech Pathology at Oklahoma State University. He has over 25 years of clinical experience and has published over 90 manuscripts in fluency disorders and research methods. He is a board certified fluency specialist and an ASHA Fellow.  He was named the recipient of the 2024 Louis M. DiCarlo Award for Recent Clinical Achievemnt.  He is the first person to win this award from the state of Oklahoma.

Dr. Tetnowski is the only board certified fluency specialist is Oklahoma. Since 2012, he has run a summer fluency camp for children and teens that stutter.
