This is course trains faculty and staff to safely drive students in large passenger vans and the certification includes the following: (1) all day precision driving training course with OSU Police Sergeant Queen and OSU Parking and Transportation Services; (2) certificate of completion; (3) ability to drive passenger vans with students.

The workshop focused on ensuring understanding of the basic steps of going through a social science research project (including how to navigate IRB), what data collection options are available, and career application (e.g., scholarship of teaching and learning, evaluation of Extension and outreach activities, and conducting needs assessments with stakeholders in your area of research, which could help provide some baseline research for applying for external funding).

The workshop will focus on strategies for course enhancement, including microcredentials, modular content, and of course, teaching tips from your colleagues.

This position: (1) serves as secretary and is responsible for maintaining official documentation regarding meetings and composing an annual draft for the chair; (2) aids in coordinating any efforts put on by the group; and (3) becomes chair-elect the following year.
