Architecture
Summary
The School of Architecture at Oklahoma State University is a well-established and respected program (founded in 1909) that uniquely integrates architecture, architectural engineering, and design studies under one roof. Its five-year, NAAB-accredited Bachelor of Architecture (BArch) and ABET-accredited Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degrees combine studio-based design training with coursework in building systems, structures, history, theory, and technology — giving students a strong balance of creative, technical, and professional skills. Students benefit from a close, collaborative studio culture supported by experienced faculty and modern facilities in the Donald W. Reynolds School of Architecture Building, which houses daylighting labs, digital-fabrication workshops, and an expanded architecture library. The school encourages interdisciplinary thinking and practical problem-solving — graduates are well prepared for licensure, professional work, or further education, and OSU architecture alumni hold leadership roles in top firms and professional organizations nationwide.
