The School of Materials, Mechatronics & Manufacturing Engineering at Oklahoma State University brings together multiple engineering?technology and materials science disciplines under one roof — including Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics & Robotics, and Materials Science & Engineering. This school emphasizes practical, hands?on training and real?world problem solving: undergraduates in Mechatronics and Robotics learn how to build and program intelligent systems (robotics, automation, control systems, embedded electronics) and work in modern labs on projects ranging from manufacturing to autonomous devices. The Materials Science & Engineering graduate program — based at OSU–Tulsa’s Helmerich Research Center — trains students to understand and engineer the connection between a material’s molecular structure, its processing, and its real?word properties and uses (from aerospace composites to electronic materials).
