Bradley Coleman

Dr. Bradley Coleman is an assistant professor of agricultural education and leadership. His research interests include experiential learning as a theory and pedagogical approach in secondary, post-secondary, graduate, and nonformal agricultural education settings. He attended Louisiana State University as an undergraduate and earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural education in 2015. After, Dr. Coleman taught agriculture at Ponchatoula High School in Louisiana before returning to graduate school. He earned a master's degree from the Department of Agricultural Education and Communication at the University of Florida in 2019 and received his doctoral degree from the same department in 2022.

Research Interests:

I study experiential learning as an educational theory and a teaching methodology. Research on experiential learning can inform practitioners of agricultural education (in secondary, post-secondary, graduate, and nonformal settings), improve students' learning experiences, and have long-term impacts on the larger agricultural system by equipping the workforce with highly skilled practitioners.
