The goal of this course is to help students understand, in depth, the influence of genetics and epigenetics on nutrient metabolism, and the implications for human metabolic diseases such as cardiovascular disease and cancer. We will also review the current evidence, uncertainties and controversies, and future directions in precision nutrition.Prerequisite(s): For graduate students in NSCI or by permission of the instructor.
