Students will actively participate in a lively workshop environment focusing on the creative process of writing lyric and/or narrative poetry. The types, forms, and audience of poems covered in this course will vary. Because this class focuses on writing and the creative process, we will examine both student work and the work of published poets. Previously offered as ENGL 4643.
