BIO & RESEARCH INTERESTs
My research interests include the following:
- Using geochemical signals to reconstruct sedimentary depositional events.
- Investigating early diagenesis in modern marine sediments and its impact on primary depositional signals.
- To evaluate subsurface metal cycling and its implication for the (ultra-) deep biosphere.
- Investigating and applying paleoproxies with emphasize on redox-sensitive trace metals.
- Decipher the impact of hydrothermal vent fluids on the surrounding sediments with focus on trace metals .
