BIO & RESEARCH INTERESTs
My research is focused on the short and long term effects of adverse childhood experiences and childhood maltreatment. I'm particularly interested in the role interpersonal relationships (e.g., couple, parent-child) play linking childhood maltreatment to mental health and physical health outcomes. In my research I operate primarily from life course, attachment, family systems, bioecological, and developmental psychopathology frameworks.
