Mayara F. Maggioli, DVM, MS, Ph.D, earned her DVM and MS degrees from Federal University of Goias (Brazil) and her Ph.D. from Iowa State University. Dr. Maggioli research focuses on host responses to infections, disease biomarkers and correlates of protection to bacterial and viral infections of livestock with translational relevance, aiming to advance disease prevention and control strategies and to promote health.
