TEACHING SUMMARY

I became the Instructor of Record (IOR) for the Comparative Anatomy course for the first year Veterinary Students given every Spring Semester in the College of Veterinary Medicine at OSU since 2018. The course focuses on learning the comparative and functional gross anatomy of large domestic mammals (equine and bovine) with special emphasis on the topographical appreciation and clinical integration using both lecture and laboratory formats. As a Veterinary educator, my aim is to bring innovation in teaching Veterinary Anatomy. My vision is to improve the way students learn, understand, and retain clinically relevant information by making it engaging, hands-on, and an active learning experience using both media and technology. I'm excited about the potential possibilities of personalized case-based learning opportunities through using artificial intelligence (AI).
