Dr. Galvin currently teaches continuing education courses for pesticide applicators and those looking to obtain certifications in associated fields. Common topics include:
- Reading and interpreting pesticide labels
- Understanding herbicide resistance and prevention
- General weed management
- Herbicide physiology
- Weed biology and ecology as influenced by the environment
- Timing of application based on current herbicide labels

Continuing education courses related to weed management in wheat are currently in development, but will include:
- updated herbicide resistant weed information
- timing of application of viable chemical control strategies
