John Long

John Long is a state extension specialist for Oklahoma in the area of agriculture machinery systems. His expertise involves agricultural machinery and equipment such as tractors, sprayers, planters, and harvesting equipment. He has developed and taught courses focused on machinery design, mechanical failure analysis and agricultural electronics. He has experience working with farmers and ranchers through local and regional workshops centered on spraying, planting and harvesting equipment. Dr. Long holds a 60% Teaching and 40% Extension appointment.
