Trumpet Ensemble - Chamber music ensemble of trumpets. 

Applied Trumpet - One-on-one, weekly, trumpet lessons for all music education and music performance majors. All students registered for applied lessons also participate in a weekly trumpet studio masterclass. 

Trumpet Techniques of Pedagogy and Performance - This independent study meets weekly with the instructor to cover a survey of music pedagogical methods suitable for various levels and types of applied music.

Trumpet Pedagogy - This independent study meets weekly with the instructor to discuss assignments, topics, and modern performance practice. Topics are tailored to the student and may cover deliberate practice, journaling, balancing fundamental skills in a well-designed routine, a fundamental approach to practice and pedagogy, supplementing practice to avoid stagnation/burnout, and a psychological approach to trumpet performance.

Trumpet Repertory - This independent study course meets weekly with the instructor to discuss assignments, repertory and pertinent material. It is a survey of music literature suitable for teaching a variety of levels of applied music.

High Brass Methods- This course is for music education majors and is a performance based class. The semester is divided into Trumpet and Horn. The trumpet portion of this course covers the basic fundamentals of high brass playing, how to teach trumpet beginners, becoming fundamentally proficient on the trumpet, increasing awareness of problems that are idiomatic, and strategies for teaching trumpet at all levels.
