TEACHING SUMMARY
My teaching centers on preparing students for the collaborative and practical realities of theatre production while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and craftsmanship. As an educator in costume design, makeup, and costume technology, I emphasize both conceptual storytelling and hands-on skill development, ensuring students gain marketable techniques alongside a strong artistic voice. Drawing from my professional experience in costume construction and design, I integrate real-world practices into the classroom. I am committed to evolving my pedagogy through emerging technologies, including digital design tools while also preserving traditional craft techniques such as millinery and handwork. Ultimately, my goal is to equip students with the tools, adaptability, and curiosity needed to succeed in the ever-changing field of theatre.
