Jenny Bodenhamer

Jenny Bodenhamer has worked in libraries for over fifteen years. She has a master's degree from the University of Oklahoma's School of Library and Information Studies and has experience in both academic and public libraries. From 2011 to 2023, she was a Cataloging Librarian at the Metropolitan Library System. From February 2023 to July 2025, Jenny worked as a Digital Services Librarian at Oklahoma State University, focusing on the creation of metadata for electronic theses and dissertations and contributing her aid with OSU's migration to Folio, an open-source library service platform. Now, she is serving as the Assistant Department Head of Digital Services and Discovery Services.

In recent years, she has served the Oklahoma Library Association's Technical Services Roundtable and the Continuing Education Committee in various leadership roles. In this capacity, she has helped update OLA handbooks and forms. Her interests include providing professional development opportunities to OLA members and increasing awareness of OLA's value to our community.

Jenny's mission is to enable librarians and patrons reach their personal education goals. She does this by promoting continuing education programs locally and by making resources accessible and discoverable for people to educate themselves.
