BIO & RESEARCH INTERESTs

Jen earned her PhD in social psychology from the University of Southern California, focusing on consumer and health behavior change and habits. At OSU, Jen regularly teaches courses in Social Psychology, Applied Psychology, Positive Psychology, and Motivation Science. She received the Outstanding Faculty Member for Undergraduate Instruction in Psychology Award in 2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025.

Jen has worked with collaborators from both academia and industry in a variety of fields (e.g., technology, law, computer science) to address behavioral science questions. Her work has been published in psychology, consumer, and health journals, and she has been invited to present her research broadly to audiences throughout the US and in Europe. Her research has received media attention from a variety of outlets including the Huffington Post.
