    This course provides the foundations of physical chemistry required for all disciplines of chemistry to understand the underlying principles necessary to advance at the graduate level. This core treatment will address thermodynamics and equilibria, chemical kinetics, quantum mechanics, spectroscopy, and statistical thermodynamics. These topics will provide the conceptual learning critical for interdisciplinary applications of physical chemistry.Prerequisite(s): CHEM 3433 and CHEM 3153, or equivalent.
