Emily E. Graham is a historian of the Middle Ages, specializing in the intersection of religious and political history.
Research Interests:
Dr. Graham's research interests include sanctity, monastic orders, religious reform and heretical movements, and papal politics. She has published on Franciscan reformers, their patronage and networks. Most recently, she wrote and recorded a course on Lives of the Christian Saints for The Great Courses. Her current projects place saints within their historical context, and examine the Cardinal Protectors of the Franciscan Order.
