Systematic thinking about state and national public health policy and developing skills for policy health advocacy. Focus on key features of the current U.S. health care and political system, and political and socio-economic concepts central to health policy debates. Will provide students with practice in critically evaluating pressing public health policy problems. Previously offered as HLTH 3351.
