TEACHING SUMMARY
For approximately fifteen years, I had the opportunity to teach both first-semester freshmen and doctoral students each academic year. My teaching assignments included teaching the college's Freshman Research Seminar course, a course for freshmen participating in OSU Freshman Research Scholars Program. The course included an exploration of what "research" means in a variety of settings and introduced basic research skills and processes. And, I co-taught a required professional development seminar for all doctoral students in the College of Human Sciences. This course included analysis of philosophy, critical issues, current developments and interrelationships among elements in human science disciplines.
