BIO & RESEARCH INTERESTs

Chuck is the Associate Dean of Research for the College of Engineering Architecture and Technology and is director of the Robust Electromagnetic Field Testing and Simulation Laboratory at Oklahoma State University where he is a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering.

Chuck was a distinguished Lecturer for the IEEE EMC society (2011-2012), IEEE EMC society Board of Directors (2011-2016), Technical Activities Committee Chair (2016-2017), VP Technical Services (2017 – 2022), IEEE EMC Board of Governors (2026- present).

 

Named IEEE Fellow in 2018 for "for educational contributions to electromagnetic compatibility and reverberation chambers."

Research Interests:

His interests include electromagnetic field penetration in aircraft structures and reverberation chamber simulation using numerical and experimental methods, engineering education, and electromagnetic characterization and application of reverberation chambers for communication systems including RFID and UAS.
