Place-based research allows exploration of unique challenges and opportunities of rural communities, analysis of existing research, and development of innovative approaches to address community needs. Combination of classroom discussions, fieldwork, and community-based projects to gain understanding of rural contexts. May not be used for degree credit with AECL 5003.
