Examines concepts of physiological integrity, psychosocial integrity, safe, effective care environments, and health promotion/maintenance. Focuses on beginning competencies with an emphasis on health assessment, interpersonal communication, safety, documentation, and selected basic nursing interventions required for clients with acute and chronic health problems.
