Alex Campbell, P.E. is an Assistant Professor for the School of Architecture.

After receiving his Bachelor of Architectural Engineering from Oklahoma State University, Alex received his Master of Science, Civil Engineering degree from Oklahoma State University and began practicing as a structural engineer in Oklahoma City. After being in the industry, he has returned to his Alma Mater to teach.

Alex is enthusiastic about all structural materials, but his main area of expertise is in structural steel. In practice, Alex provided delegated design services for structural steel connections and steel stairs for contractors and steel fabricators throughout the United States. He brings that knowledge to the classroom and his research to share his love of structural steel and further the steel industry.

Professor Campbell also enjoys being involved in the beginning architectural design studios where he is able to interact with students to develop their understanding of architectural design.
